The project aims for Installation of 23,500 nos. SPV power plants of 1 kWp capacity each for Domestic household in Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamilnadu, Chhattisgarh and other selected States. Limited availability of Grid power is the major factor in these States which makes SPV power as an alternative to the Grid. Areas like remote, rural , Semi–urban faces difficulty of power throughout the year particularly during the day time and in the evenings. So to cater this shortage of power, SPV power plants will be installed at the rooftop of the individual houses.
