Order of the National Green Tribunal regarding management of E-waste in accordance with the E-waste (Management & Handling) Rules, 2011, 05/05/2014
Order of the National Green Tribunal (Central Zonal Bench, Bhopal) in the matter of Nagrik Upbhokta Margdarshak Manch & Anr. v. State of MP & Ors dated 05/05/2014 regarding management of E-waste in accordance with the E-waste (Management & Handling) Rules, 2011 with special reference to the provision relating to EPR as incorporated therein.
MPPCB states that for the implementation of E-waste (Management & Handling) Rules, 2011 the industry has not come forward and remains in infringement of the Rules so far as collection and disposal of waste is concerned, primarily all the products manufactured by them.
