Manipur state action plan on climate change
Climate change may alter eco-system as well as biodiversity of a region in many ways. It poses a major challenge to sustainability of social and economic development especially by adversely affecting the distribution system and quality of regional resources thereby impacting the livelihood of communities and also the environment in developing countries. The poor communities will be affected disproportionately. Adapting to this changing climate is a rapidly growing challenge for the dependent communities, particularly the backward & rapidly urbanized areas, in Manipur state.
