Argentina recently filed a case in the International Court of Justice against Uruguay to stop constructing pulp mills along the shared Uruguay river. Argentina fears these mills will cause pollution on both sides of the river.

The director-general of foreign trade in India has suspended a recently introduced provision in the foreign trade policy of the country. It required government clearance of genetically modified food including soy oil being imported in the country for a period of three months.
