Order of the National Green Tribunal (Principal Bench, New Delhi) in the matter of Almitra H. Patel & Anr. Vs. Union of India & Ors. dated 02/12/2014 regarding collection and disposal of municipal solid waste in India.
The counsel appearing for States/ State Pollution Control Boards are granted two weeks time by way of last opportunity to file the status reports in regard to collection and disposal of municipal solid waste in their respective States. The Report shall be filed before the CPCB which then shall file the final status reports in regard to all the States and UTs in the Country.
