Order of the National Green Tribunal (Principal Bench, New Delhi) in the matter of Vardhaman Kaushik Vs. Union of India & Ors. dated 10/04/2015 regarding air pollution in NCT, Delhi.
The Tribunal noted that if the stake holders carry out the development activity in fragrent violation as to the principal of sustainable development the results can be disastrous. Where construction activity is one of the very significant facet of development there it is one of the serious contributor of air pollution by generating dust.
