2014 joint report on Multilateral Development Banks' climate finance
A new report from the six large multilateral development banks (MDBs) breaks down their combined climate finance commitments in 2014, looking at mitigation, adaptation and regional investments. Over the four years since they began joint reporting, the MDBs have provided over $100 billion in climate finance. As understanding of the risks posed by climate change increases, they are being asked to do more. The report covers climate finance from the African Development Bank, Asian Development Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, European Investment Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, and the World Bank Group, which includes IFC.
