Question raised in Rajya Sabha on adulteration of packaged food items and milk products, 21/07/2015 . From time to time, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) takes up the matters relating to safety and standards of all food items with the State authorities concerned including through written communications. Further, the pertinent issues are highlighted during interactions in the meetings of the Central Advisory Committee (CAC) of the FSSAI in which amongst others,the Commissioners of Food Safety of all States and UTs are also included.
