Order of the National Green Tribunal regarding littering of rail tracks, 04/08/2015
Order of the National Green Tribunal (Principal Bench, New Delhi) in the matter of Saloni Singh & Others Vs. Union of India & Others dated 04/08/2015 regarding littering of rail tracks.
The counsel appearing for the Railway submits that the sector from New Delhi Station to Subzi Mandi has been cleaned by the Railway Authorities that is the platform, railway track and even the railway property adjacent to the tracks. The Tribunal also asked the railways to ensure that the said sectors remain clean and does not cause any environmental pollution.
