Director - Community Mobilization
Bonded labour trafficking remains prevalent in Karnataka, while the level of knowledge and drive for change within the community remains low. The Director of Community Mobilization will lead the organisations efforts to empower communities vulnerable to bonded labour and mobilize those communities with bonded labour in their midst, driving public demand for change and developing a model of effective engagement with law enforcement and local officials. The Director will guide the development of strategic events and campaigns to enhance public demand at high levels, and improve the quality of high-level interactions between civil society and public justice officials. This person will also lead in building close relationships and understandings with key media houses and journalists, to further promote a strong response to bonded labour in Karnataka.
