Order of the National Green Tribunal regarding Signature Bridge, Delhi, 16/11/2015
Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Manoj Kumar Mishra Vs. NCT of Delhi & Ors. dated 16/11/2015 regarding Signature Bridge, Delhi.
According to the Counsel appearing for the respondents, the project is a state of art project and is intended to serve a larger public purpose of decongestion of traffic in Delhi. He further states that the linking road by the other States like UP has already been completed and the bridge construction is in progress. He further states upon instruction that the river bank is being used only for temporary purpose as a support to construction of the bridge and the same will be removed once the bridge is completed and the work will be done in non- monsoon season.
