Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of K.S. Gahunia Vs. N.B.C.C. Ltd. & Ors.dated 24/11/2015 regarding East Kidwai Nagar redevelopment, New Delhi.
In the objections filed by the Applicant to the report of the local commissioner (Mr. Rahul Verma, AAG) interalia but surprisingly allegations have been made that the Local Commissioner has connived with the Project Proponent and therefore the report is unsustainable. NGT has put to the Applicant that if this allegation is found to be incorrect after hearing the learned counsel appearing for the parties, NGT will be constrained to impose heavy and compensatory costs for making such allegation.
