Question raised in Lok Sabha on National Projects, 10/03/2016. Government of India has declared 16 projects as National Projects. The names of the projects which have been declared as National Projects and their present status are given in Annexure – I. Since the beginning of Scheme of National Projects (in February 2008), 14 new project proposals (apart from 14 projects which were already in the list of National Projects appended with the Guidelines) were received from State Governments for consideration /inclusion under the scheme. The details of such proposals are enclosed as Annexure – II.
