Putting co-benefits into practice: case studies from Asia
Transforming development by capitalizing on policies and measures that have climate and development co-benefits is the focus of the newly released Asian Co-benefits Partnership’s (ACP) second White Paper. Entitled “Putting Co-Benefits into Practice: Case Studies from Asia”, the paper “helps present this global opportunity and demonstrates how cases that put co-benefits into practice in Asia can help realize it”. The ACP – of which Clean Air Asia is a member and part of its advisory group – provides an informal and interactive platform for information-sharing and awareness-raising about co-benefits in Asia. Since its inception in 2010, the ACP has grown to include more than 300 individual and institutional partners, all with an interest in promoting the spread of co-benefits in Asia. One of the main tools the ACP uses to achieve its goals is the biennial White Paper.
