Order of the National Green Tribunal regarding dust pollution in Delhi NCR, 06/04/2016
Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Vardhaman Kaushik Vs. Union of India & Others dated 06/04/2016 regarding dust pollution, Delhi NCR. NGT came down heavily on builders carrying out construction in areas over 2,000 square feet and flouting environmental norms. The order further said "Offenders who do not wish to pay the amount (Environmental Compensation of Rs 50,000) should be given liberty to file reply to show cause within two weeks ... and those cases will be listed before the Tribunal for hearing and further orders."
