Question raised in Lok Sabha on Sewage Treatment Plants Under Namami Gange Mission, 11/08/2016. As on 30th June, 2016, 58 project on Sewerage and Sanitation have been sanctioned. This includes 51 projects for STPs and sewerage network Schemes and 7 projects only for laying / rehabilitation of sewer lines. This would create 808.23 MLD (new) and rehabilitation of 1089.00 MLD treatment capacity and 3627.15 Km sewer network. Till date 7 STP projects are completed which has created 126.5 MLD capacity. The details of the STPs is given in annexure 1.
