Key indicators for Asia and the Pacific 2016

The 2016 edition of Key Indicators for Asia and the Pacific has been released. Key Indicators 2016 provides the latest available economic, financial, social, and environmental statistics for the 48 regional members of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Highlights of this year’s report include: Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Indicators in Asia and the Pacific: For the first time since their approval by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015, Key Indicators 2016 integrates SDG data. Regional and country trends and tables, including indicators across eight themes: people; economy and output; money, finance, and prices; globalization; transport and communications; energy and electricity; environment; and government and governance; Updated tables and data for the Global Value Chain statistics which were introduced for the first time in Key Indicators 2015; and Updates to the Key Indicators database including data for development, their source, and their methodology.
