Order of the National Green Tribunal regarding air pollution in the cities of Kolkata and Howrah, West Bengal, 25/01/2018
Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Subhash Datta Vs State of West Bengal & Others dated 25/01/2018 regarding air pollution in the cities of Kolkata and Howrah. NGT directs that a comprehensive study of the ambient air quality should be undertaken by a Committee which shall be headed by the Regional Officer of the CPCB, who shall monitor the work of the Committee and submit a regular report. The study shall be undertaken to cover whole of the two cities.
