Making in-roads: the politics of road safety in Mumbai
This study examines the political economy of road safety in India, with a focus on Mumbai. The idea is to identify the underlying factors embedded in the political, economic and social framework of the city which influence road safety. This case study is part of a broader project that analyses the political economy of urban road safety issues, undertaken by the Overseas Development Institute (ODI) and the World Resources Institute (WRI), and funded by the FIA Foundation.
