Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Sailen Mishra Vs State of West Bengal & Others dated 04/02/2019 regarding illegal operation of a large number of brick fields in the District of Purulia, West Bengal without obtaining the necessary statutory clearances.
NGT directs inspection of the brick fields in question and verify as to the correctness of the allegations contained in the application. If it is found that the allegations are correct, they are at liberty to take appropriate action in accordance with law.
