Order of the National Green Tribunal regarding dumping of garbage at village Juna Deesa, Gujarat, 10/04/2019
Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Babubhai Keshabhai Rawal & Others Vs Gujarat Pollution Control Board & Others dated 10/04/2019 regarding dumping site at Survey No. 727/-P/1 of village Juna Deesa, Gujarat. According to the applicant, the dumping site does not have any authorization in terms of Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016. Dumping of mixed garbage is unscientific.
NGT directs the Gujarat State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB) and Deesa Nagar Palika to submit a report within two months on the matter.
