Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Platinum AAC Blocks Pvt. Ltd. Vs Pollution Control Committee, Daman Diu and Dadra Nagar Haveli & Others dated 19/01/2021.

The application sought execution of orders of the NGT (17.1.2020, 14.9.2020 and 9.12.2020) which directed the Daman PCC to treat fly ash utilisation activity of Platinum AAC Blocks as permissible in view of the report of the joint Committee comprising CPCB and the Pollution Control Committee (PCC).

The NGT in its order of January 19, 2021 directed the Chairman and Member Secretary, Daman Diu & Dadra Nagar Haveli PCC to show cause why coercive measures should not be adopted against them under Section 25 of the NGT Act.
