Measuring progress: the environmental dimension of the Sustainable Development Goals in Latin America and the Caribbean
Measuring progress compiles data and information about the environmental aspects of each of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and their status in Latin America and the Caribbean. The publication is based on the regional performance assessed through the 88 SDG indicators that have a direct relation with environmental issues, and data from international organizations. The report, intended to assist policymakers and stakeholders from civil society, governments, communities and the private sector, also aims to showcase the opportunities of sound environmental management to ensure sustainable development alternatives that contribute to halt natural resource exhaustion, environmental degradation, and unsustainable livelihoods.
