Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Bishweswar Tudu Vs State of Odisha dated 05/03/2021.
The matter related to allegations of illegal black stone mining near school and Anganwadi centers in forest area at Bangriposi, district Mayurbhanj, Odisha. In response, the NGT directed submission of a factual and action taken report from the PCCF (HoFF), Odisha, the Odisha State Pollution Control Board and the District Magistrate, Mayurbhanj on the matter.
The filed report of February 26, 2021 informed the NGT that there was no illegal black stone mining as alleged. Taking into cognizance the report, the court disposed of the application.
