Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of State of Haryana Vs Municipal Committee, Haily Mandi & Others dated 27/08/2021.
Grievance in the application was against unscientific disposal of waste at Khasra No. 129, 130, 143, Mirzapur Road, Hailymandi, tehsil Pataudi, district Gurugram. According to the applicants, the land in question is a public park but the same is being illegally used as a site for disposal of waste.
The NGT directed a joint Committee of the Haryana State Pollution Control Board and the District Magistrate, Gurugram to undertake a visit to the site, interact with the stakeholders and furnish a factual and action taken report in the matter within one month.
