Order of the National Green Tribunal (Central Zone Bench, Bhopal) in the matter of Mahesh Pal Vs State of Madhya Pradesh dated 08/11/2021.
Issues raised in this application is cutting of trees without any necessary permission from the competent authorities and concretization of natural nallah and constructing path way in the green belt area by the Municipal Council, Panna.
The NGT (Central Zone Bench, Bhopal) directed a joint committee to be constituted and visit the place and submit the factual and action taken report within six weeks. In the meanwhile, the Collector, Panna is directed to ensure that there shall not be any tree felling or tree cutting without permission from the competent authority.
