Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Avinash Kumar Ray Vs Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change & Others dated 30/05/2022.
The matter related to issuance of directions to the concerned authorities to undertake the exercise of reevaluation and reassessment and to prepare a fresh DSR of District Banda as per SSMG 2016 and EMGSM-2020 and thereafter to proceed to settle mining leases of District Banda, Uttar Pradesh.
The NGT directed notice to be issued to the concerned authorities requiring them to file replies within a period of two months and listed the matter for August 26, 2022.
