Encroachments over land recorded as pond removed in village Akodha Aurangzebpur, Haridwar after filing of petition in Uttarakhand High Court
Order of the Uttarakhand High Court in WPPIL No. 57 of 2023 regarding the encroachment and illegal construction over the public utility land, recorded as johar (pond) in village Akodha Aurangzebpur, pargana Manglaur, tehsil Laksar, district Haridwar.
The petitioner informed the HC that after filing of the writ petition, the encroachments and illegal constructions were removed.
The court directed the authorities to continue to ensure that the encroachment over the land does not recur and take steps like fencing the area to prevent the occurrence of encroachment.
