Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Prem Shankar Singh & Others Vs State of Uttar Pradesh dated 26/09/2023.
The matter is related to violation of environmental norms by the Housing Society Ganpati Classic Apartment, Sikandra Agra.
In the previous direction of the court, the joint Committee had submitted the report on September 22, 2023. As per the report, the Environmental Clearance (EC) or Consent to Operate does not exist and there is large scale violation by the project proponent.
The NGT directed notice to be issued to the Project Proponent, Vice-Chairman Agra Development Authority, Agra and the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Agra and President of Resident Welfare Association, Ganpati Classic Apartment.
