Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of M Alagarsamy Vs Union of India & Others dated 05/04/2023. The matter is related to illegal sand mining in India.
The SC directed the centre to file a document which "comprehensively indicates all the extant guidelines applicable for sand mining and the nature of controls, envisioned in respect of mining leases which are less than 5 hectare".
