Dengue, malaria hit 500 in Oct, another death on Mon
Sporadic showers in the city have been responsible for a high number of vector-borne diseases so far this month, say city doctors. More than 500 Mumbaikars have been infected with either malaria or dengue in the first half of October this year. Meanwhile, dengue claimed another life late on Monday when the victim was being shifted from one hospital to another. Sangeeta, a Film City resident, was admitted in a Goregaon (E) hospital after being diagnosed as a “suspected case of dengue”.
