Work on the desilting of Mala Lake took a
National Green Tribunal (NGT), in a hearing on Thursday, constituted an eight-member monitoring committee to keep a tab on the work of cleaning of lakes to be undertaken by government agencies. Members of the committee include Barkatullah University professor Pradeep Shrivastava, member of Bhopal citizen forum, HK Bhawnani, associate professor, department of biotechnology in Barkatullah University, Ragini Gothalwal, advocate Vinay Jain, Tarun Gupta from News and Views, digital video magazine, retired city engineer, BMC, PC Jain, regional officer MPPC, PS Bundela and MANIT professor, Anil Sharma.
