Greater Noida: Two CNG filling stations were opened in Greater Noida on Friday. The CNG stations, set up by Indraprastha Gas Limited are located opposite the Daewoo Motors plant. The stations were opened by IGL chairman-cum-managing director, U D Chaube. An IGL spokesperson said the two stations together have an installed capacity of 66,000 kgs of CNG daily.

The International Wetland Day was celebrated throughout the world on February 2. If one goes by the wetlands in Uttar Pradesh, it is a bleak scene altogether. LUCKNOW: The UP Project Development Corporation (UPPDC) has been entrusted with the task of taking care of the Gomti. It was decided on Monday that the agency would be carrying out the dredging operations in the river, the cost of which would be borne by Lucknow Development Authority (LDA), UP Housing and Development Board (UPHDB) and irrigation department jointly.

The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court on Thursday directed the Divisional Commissioner to monitor the funds released under NREGA so that they reached the eligible beneficiaries.
