GPCB collects evidence Aagainst four firms
TIMES NEWS NETWORK Ahmedabad: Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) has gathered first visible evidence against four pharma and packaging firms in Narol and Isanpur whose names figured in the list of 26 firms recycling medical waste. A raiding team found boxes containing used medicine bottles with their cartons that were supplied by a scap dealer to these companies.

Polluters have to pay for electronic waste: Ranawaka
Environment and Natural Resources Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka told Parliament yesterday that the government would launch its programme for recycling the electronic wastes such as mobile phone batteries very soon. The Minister was speaking during the debate on the Environment Conservation Levy which was introduced earlier.
