Mining transporters urged to reduce traffic on Tilamol-Sanguem route
The South Goa District Magistrate has asked requested mining transporters to reduce the volume of truck traffic to 40 per cent on the Tilamol-Curchorem-Sanguem route to avoid accidents on the narrow stretch of road. A final decision will, however, be taken at the meeting of the ore transporters and mine owners with the Chief Minister, Digambar Kamat later in the evening.
