Govt asked to reply on anti-erosion measures for Candolim beach
The Bombay High Court at Goa Monday directed the State Government to file an affidavit stating what anti-erosion measures it has taken to stop erosion of the Candolim beach which has become an inevitability due to failure of the government to get grounded M V River Princess off the Candolim beach. The vessel has been lying grounded since 2000.

Expression of Interest to set up treatment plant at Sonsodo!
The Margao Municipal Council has decided to invite Expression of Interest to set up a 50 ton garbage treatment and processing plant at Sonsodo on BOOT basis.
