A case study on: performance evaluation of zero tillage seed drill in Allahabad district

Rice-wheat cropping system is most popular among the farmers in eastern Indo-Gangetic plains of India. The adoption of reduced and zero tillage seed drill of rice and wheat can improve the timeliness of sowing and help farmers. Keeping this in view ZTSD (Zero tillage seed drill) was introduced by KVK's (Krishi Vigyan Kendra) of Allahabad Agricultural Institute Deemed University to the farmers as better alternative over traditional practice of tillage and farmers perception about zero tillage seed drill technology.
