Application of ISO-14001 to Indian roadways considering the case of noise

ISO-14001 was developed by the Geneva International Standards Organisation as a model for business and for other organisations to use in managing their effort to comply with environmental requirements and for protection of human health and environment. The key elements of the ISO-14000 package of standards, ISO-14001, specially govern Environmental Management System (EMS), the structure, policies and procedures by which corporation manage their environmental impacts. The Core concept of ISO-14001 is that business groups should identify and evaluate all their impact on the environment and should strive for continuous improvement in their environmental performance.
