Having an ISO-14001 Environmental Management Systems (EMS) will help and enhance a firm's economic performance and at the same time will improve its environmental performance. The benefits of ISO-14001 lie in cost savings through energy consumption, raw material input, waste management, environmental impact reversal as well as an improved public image. An attempt has been made to study the procedure and the steps involved in getting Environmental Management Systems: ISO-14001 certification and Hazard analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP): IS-15000 certification by Common Effluent Treatment Plant at Sangaria, Jodhpur.
