Considering the extent of pollution and the rapid rate of depletion in both the quality and quantity of surface water, man has put his eyes on the groundwater for safe and immediate consumption. In the present study 15 physico-chemical parameters, such as pH, electrical conductivity (EC), total dissolved solids (TDS), dissolved oxygen (DO), biological oxygen demand (BOD), chemical oxygen demand (COD) were also taken into consideration.
