Envronmental management plan for automobile ancillary parts industry

Robust growth rate in the automobile components sector and pressure on component suppliers to demonstrate environmental performance along with quality, cost and delivery make small and medium scale automobile ancillary component suppliers in the need of addressing their environmental issues and and waste minimisation options in their industry. Environmental Management Plan was developed for automobile ancillary parts industry to identify the sources of liquid waste, solid waste, air emission and noise level generated by the industry and detailed material balance was conducted for press shop, weld shop and paint shop to explore the feasibility of waste minimisation options in the industry.
