Government of India provides financial assistance to all State/Union territory Governments under the various Centrally Sponsored Schemes for conservation and management of wildlife in the country. Details of funds released under these schemes viz. 'Integrated Development of Wildlife Habitats', 'Project Tiger' and 'Project Elephant' during the last three years is at Annexure-l. Government of India has also provided necessary advisories for management of Human-Wildlife conflict in States/UTs.
