Around 100 villagers including women and children were hospitalized after drinking contaminated water from a canal containing effluents from a beer factory in Rewari district of Haryana. The people fell on Saturday. Rewari deputy commissioner C G Rajnikanthan has ordered a probe. Their condition is stated to be out of danger. A team of officials from the district administration, Pollution Control Board and irrigation department collected samples of the effluents from the beer factory.
