In a bid to save Sivasagar town in Assam from increasing pollution caused by a rapid increase in vehicular traffic, industrialisation and the oil industry ONGC, Sivasagar district administration formally inaugurated the ambitious eco-scheme for converting the Sivasagar as "Neem township" by planting 10,000 neem saplings in the town recently.
