At least 12 people are feared to have been killed with the roofs of two abandoned mines at Nirsa and Bermo caving in yesterday afternoon. The mines belonged to Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL) and Cental Coalfields Limited (CCL) , and were located near Dhanbad and Bokaro respectively.
