  • 09/06/1998

About 16,000 vehicles in the twin cities had beenconverted into gas by the Pakistan Hydrocarbon Development Institute (PHDI) during the past few years. As many as 7,000 vehicles are commuting in Islamabad and the remaining in Rawalpindi. The conversion of petrol vehicles into gas is a part of government strategy to bring down consumption of petrol, which costs very much due to its increase import every year.
