The Babulal Marandi government in Jharkhand wants to celebrate the second birth anniversary of the state on November 15 in a big way. And the Chief Minister want to make sure nothing comes in his way. Not even trees. This is exactly why some 2,000-odd trees planted by the Forest Department more than 10 years ago have been cut down in the past two days. The acacia trees had been planted by the erstwhile Bihar Forest Department in 1990 under the Social Forestry Scheme.
