The embassy of Japan here has decided to extent $230,626 as grant assistance to six non-governmental organisations in the country. These include: The Indian Institute Natural Resources Development for its centre at Noida, Singamma Sreenivasan Foundation, Sopcial Awareness Through Human Development in Himachal Pradesh, Leishiphung Christain Hospital Association in Manipur, Ananda Mission Charitable Trust in UP and the Indian Red Cross Society, Assam.
