As many as 235 colonies in 33 villages were found illegal in a special survey in and around the city. The survey was conducted by district authorities and the Town Planning Dapatment. Mr. Raminder Singh, Deputy Commissioner, stated here yesterday that the step was taken to check the growth of such colonies, which violated the master plan of the city.
