29 Tap-Water schemes sanctioned under Mukhyamantri Peyajal Yojna in Shivpuri district

Under the Mukhyamantri Peyajal Yojna, a sum of Rs. 32 crore 59 lakh was sanctioned for 29 tap-water scheme from B.R.G.F at the district planning committee meeting chaired by Minister of State for Home, Jail and Transport Narayan Singh Kushwah at Shivpuri the other day. At the meeting, progress of schemes and programmes being implemented by Public Health Engineering, Agriculture, Food and Civil Supplies, School Education, Sarva Siksha Abhiyan, Woman and Child Development departments was also reviewed. Kushwah, who is also district in-charge Minister, took stock of preparations for Kharif crop in the district. He instructed the officials to take legal action against such agencies that had supplied sub-standard fertilisers, seeds and pesticides. The Minister also issued instructions to constitute committee at sub-divisional level to look into the cases under 'Balram Talab Yojna'. Zila Panchayat President Jitendra Jain, MLAs Makhanlal Rathore, Prahlad Bharti, Ramesh Khatik, committee members and other officials were present at the meeting.
